Do allow me to talk about myself. The concert was a smashing success! My sister and I weren't nervous at all. We walked to the piano wearing sparkling red matching tops and black skirts, and very professionally played through our program (well, okay, almost professionally - I made a couple of faces when I flubbed up, but ignore that), and people loved us! The house fell down! We got a standing ovation! I just about burst out of my skin! I could do that all the time! (Oh, and we made lots of money for our college funds). I think we'll go on tour.
God is so amazingly good to us. We can't thank Him enough.

About Me

- Name: A Vibrant Petal
- Location: United States
She is red, vibrant, Pulsing to be seen, To be held and caressed. She is a petal releasing fragrance - Deep, scarlet scent; Will he notice? Will he be pleased? Oh agony! He breathes the air straight from her lungs. She is wilting - yet wills him deeper still, to uphold her crumbling strength. He is a god! A golden god. Her soul is bruised with his beauty.

Ladies and Gentlemen! Breaking news here. We have just discovered that sisters Odessa and Charisa Nelson are presenting their debut, debut concert of classical piano duets! The program will be chock full of fascinating, beautiful, and amazing music; and it should be, because the talent these sisters possess is simply flabbergasting - as is the fact that they're finally getting around to doing this thing! This is definately an event you won't want to miss! Mark November 20th on your calenders people, because you'll want to be there! Thank you for listening, Ladies and Gentlemen, and have a great week.
(okay, please excuse my boasting, I'm just SO EXCITED about this! and kinda nervous too *gulp*)

I have an idea for a story. It would be about a kingdom somewhere, in Nowhere Land, maybe, and it would be a very, very, very tiny kingdom. But everything would be days and days journey from everything else, because there was a Law that people in this Tiny Kingdom could only walk five Steps in a day. (It didn't really matter how big your Steps were, because they hadn't discovered how to jump.) So, a building that was 18 feet away could take 2 whole days to get to. And once you got there, you probably only had one or two Steps left, so you'd have to find a chair, and if you couldn't, you had to sleep on the floor. And the only people who could walk more than five Steps were the Servants. They could walk as many as they needed. So the whole story would be about one of the Younger Generation who discovers how to Jump on his Feet. The Queen gets very alarmed at the distance he is covering in a day, but isn't sure how to catch him and slow him down, because the Policemen can only go five steps. So, of course, she has to make a law that allows them to go more. Then all the people in Tiny Kingdom get upset because the servants and the Police can walk so far, and everyone starts Jumping on their Feet. So the Queen makes a law against Jumping on your Feet. But one of the Younger Generation invents the Pogo Stick, and everyone in the Tiny Kingdom thinks he is a genius, and they all revolt, and send the Queen away in a Hot Air Balloon shaped like a pumpkin. Or something. I can't decide how the Queen's reign should end. Any ideas?

Apple sauce cake is the best kind of cake, next to Ginger Bread. It's so dark, and moist, and those luscious, plump raisins just waiting to be experienced. And the best part (or maybe it's the worst part) is that because it's made with good normal things like raisins and applesauce, you don't feel guilty about eating a ton of it, because it's healthy cake, right? I swear, I must have eaten at least one piece a day this week. Make some. You'll love it.
